The Kid

So besides complaining to the usual peeps, last weekend I had extra friends to vent to: shot some pool with my coworker Monica, drove up to LA to visit Rumie with Dina (who actually did the driving), had breakfast at the Broken Yolk with Siti (the food was very good, I had Eggs Benedict, 1851 Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach), and I dunno whether it was a weekend of hootin' and hollarin' or what but it definitely prepared me for this week to deal with Asian Lady in the White Man Mask. We all know one of those. Siti played Devil's Advocate and said that some of us, when we reached a position of power, might also be found wearing the mask ourselves. (Not me, Siti, and I'll make sure you won't ever either!) But I must admit, you all were soooo helpful and made me think...way bigger.

But then, in pops The Kid of Asian Lady Wearing White Mask. He is sooooo adorable! Right now, Asian Lady Wearing White Man Mask is on vacation. But we left off on quite the happy note.
